Dr. Pogoda was born and raised with her four siblings in New Jersey. She attended Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. When she wasn’t busy studying, she was playing club softball and enjoying time with her friends. She continued her education at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and graduated with a DMD degree. During dental school Dr. Pogoda participated in many clubs including the Prosthodontic Honor Society and Dental Honor Counsel. After completing dental school, Dr. Pogoda participated in a one-year general dentist residency program at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital in New York City. Working with veterans is very important to her as her twin brother served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Treating patients with compassion and care while preforming quality dentistry is a top priority to Dr. Pogoda, as every treatment plan is customized to fit that patients’ needs and wants. She also belongs to the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society.
During her free time Dr. Pogoda still enjoys sports, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband to new places.
